Description of the proyect: The main goals of the project are to prepare a feasibility study and a conceptual design for a wetland restoration initiative for the area within the existing boundaries of Ezerani Nature Park (ENP). The feasibility study would compare a few wetland restoration alternatives that will take into account number of assessment factors (financial, economic, environmental and social).
Various combinations of wetland restoration measures will be analyzed following the preliminary evaluation of possible options. The proposed solutions will take into consideration the limitations imposed by the land-ownership structure and will balance project goals of improving water quality in Prespa Lake and providing enhanced wetland habitat for birds and other wildlifes.

It was also investigated the existing Commonwealths of Municipalities in other subjects, different to Integrated Water Cycle, in the supra-municipal systems that are currently unstructured. In this way, it was possible to study the feasibility to add them to existing water services in the Commonwealths. Another object of this study, offer training to Commonwealths on unstructured areas and provide an overview of the Decree 310/2003 implementation, in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.

Description of the project: Article 5 of the Water Frame Directive (WFD) requires each river basin district to make a study of the impact of human activity in the state of surface waters in accordance with the technical specifications set out in Annex II of the Directive. This study consists in identifying the significant pressures being put on each surface water body, in order to determine the probability of failure to meet environmental objectives set for them in Article 4 of this WFD.

Description of the project: The work involved in conducting studies relevant to Article 5 of the Water Framework Directive, in terms of socio-economic characterization of water uses, and current status of the impact of their associated services costs (Article 9 of the WFD), which allow a further detailed study of the most cost effective combination of measures, the use of water should be included in the Programme of Measures (Article 11 of the DMA) considering the estimated costs of these measures potential (Annex III). Also enable the designation of heavily modified water bodies, reporting and communication to the European Commission of the exceptions and exemptions in the DMA objectives.

River Oka restoration project in the municipalities of Gernika and Ajangiz (Bizkaia Province, Basque Autonomous Region).

Description of the project: The restoration of the river bed and banks of the River Oka and the enhancement of cultural and scenic features are among the priority actions set out in the River Restoration Action Plan for Biscay. The River Oka across the municipalities of Gernika and Ajangiz presents an acceptable state along almost all its length, except for some sections with erosion phenomena in the river bed and banks. Other impacts identified in the river environment are the location of solid waste in the river banks and the remains of old weirs in the river bed. The project defines the works required to achieve the following objectives: Stabilizing the slopes of the river banks with bioengineering. Recovering the longitudinal river continuity eliminating obstacles in the river bed. Increasing the lateral connectivity of the channel with its banks and flood plain. Improving vertical connectivity of the channel by removing the waste.

Hydraulic study and actions in the river Udondo. (Bizkaia Province, Basque Autonomous Region).

Description of the project: The major floods that occurred in June 2008 in the River Udondo valley raised the need to find out the causes of them. Through a hydrologic and hydraulic study, the conflictive points that block the flow of water are identified. Problems are detected in two drainage structures and it is also perceived that the final stretch of the study suffers a bottleneck that causes a accumulation of excess water. Actions necessary to minimize disruption of water flow are defined and budgeted.

Description of the project: The feasibility study is linked to the document "Projects for the new construction and improvement of the sewerage systems in Las Encartaciones county. Sopuerta-Galdames", for it is planned that the collection network will end in the Sopuerta WWTP. The object of this work is to perform a predimensioning of the WWTP in order to estimate the surface occupation necessary for the facility, and thus being able to determine the most appropriate location.

Description of the project: The Environmental Impact Study (EIS) focuses on the space affected by the exploitation of the clay quarry "Marisa" in the municipality of Villaluenga de la Sagra (Toledo). The EIS aims to study and evaluate those actions that could be harmful to the environment, establishing corrective and protective actions in order to ensure the maintenance of the initial conditions. According to national and regional legislation, the EIS includes the following information: Compilation of core environmental indicators (environmental study). Analysis of those possible impacts that the action may have on environmental elements (identification and evaluation of impacts). Study of the applicable corrective measures to eliminate or mitigate impacts.
